  • What time can I check in?
    You can check in to Reina Roja hotel from 3 p.m.

  • What time do I have to check out?
    You have to check out of your room at 1 p.m., but of course you can still use the swimming pools, restaurant and bars in the hotel.

  • I will arrive in the middle of the night, can you hold my room?
    Of course! We will always hold your room. But if you know in advance that you will arrive late, please let us know. You can send an email to sales@reinarojahotel.com or call us at 01 800 REINAROJA.

  • Do I have to leave a credit card when checking in?
    Yes, when you check in to Reina Roja Hotel, you leave a blank voucher of your credit card. This way you don´t have to pay all the service in the hotel right away. When you check out you sign the voucher for the amount used.

  • How can I make a reservation?
    You can make your reservation directly through our website. Go to the reservations page and fill in your desired dates. Directly you see if we have rooms available. Also you can send an email to reservations@reinarojahotel.com or call 01 800 REINAROJA

  • Why do I have to pay the reservation directly?
    When you make a reservation on our website we will charge the first night, this is to confirm your reservation. Upon arrival in the hotel we will charge the rest of the nights.

  • I made a reservation but I want to change the dates, what do I do?
    You can contact the reservations department by email at reservations@reinarojahotel.com or call 01 800 REINAROJA. You can change the dates without any charge if you make the change more than 3 days before arrival. The same rate will be respected in case that the dates are not entering another price period. If there is a change in the rates, we will charge you the difference. Please note that only reservations which are made directly on our website can be changed. If you made your reservation through another website or travel agency you have to contact them for any changes.

  • I need to cancel my reservation, is this possible?
    If you need to cancel your reservation you can email to reservations@reinarojahotel.com or call 01 800 REINAROJA. We accept cancelations up till 3 days before arrival without charge. We will return your entire payment. If you cancel within 3 days before arrival we will charge you the first night of your planned stay. If you need to cancel your reservation during the period December 24 and January 2, we need to charge you the entire stay. Given the fact that we charge the first night upon reserving your room, we will reimbursing you that night. Please note that only reservations which are made directly on our website can be cancelled. If you made your reservation through another website or travel agency you have to contact them for any changes.

  • I made a reservation on the hotel website but I didn´t receive a confirmation, what do I do?
    If you made the reservation but you didn´t receive any confirmation it is possible that your email account saw the message as SPAM. Please check your spam box for the email. When you don´t have any confirmation please contact us at reservations@reinarojahotel.com or call us at 01800 REINAROJA.

  • I made a reservation, but my information isn`t correct, what do I do?
    When your reservation is confirmed but you need to change any details, please contacts us by email or telephone at reservations@reinarojahotel.com or 01 800 REINAROJA Please note, if you made a reservation through another website or a travel agency you have to contact them directly for any changes.

Rooms

  • What is the difference between the superior and deluxe rooms?
    The superior room is the standard room of Reina Roja Hotel. This room has all the services needed for a comfortable stay in the hotel. The room offers air-conditioning, ceiling fan, minibar, television with cable connection, telephone line, Wifi, alarm clock with Ipod station, coffee maker, hair dryer, vanity mirror, and luxury bath amenities. The Deluxe room offers the same services, bus as extra a Nesspresso coffee maker, a selection of teas and a welcome fruit basket. Also the room has a large balcony with views of the 5th avenue or the Caribbean Sea.

  • Can I specifically book the thematic suite of my choice?
    Yes, when booking through our website you can specify in which thematic suite you want to stay, check the availability and make the reservation you make a reservation at our booking page you can choose in which thematic suite you want to stay.

  • Is it possible to stay only 1 night in a thematic suite?
    Yes, there is no minimum stay required for your stay in a thematic suite. Only during the periods of Christmas, New Years and Easter we require a 4 night minimum.

  • What is included in the room price?
    In the price is included a stay for 1 or 2 people in the room, a breakfast buffet and the use of the services, like swimming pools, in the hotel.

  • How many guests can stay in 1 room?
    The superior rooms offer a king size bed or 2 twin beds. In the rooms with twin beds can stay up till 4 guests, keeping in mind that the third and fourth guest will have an extra charge. In the room with the king size bed can stay up till 3 people. An extra bed is available upon request. o Our deluxe rooms offer a king size bed for 2 people. Upon request we can offer an extra bed for a third guest, the third guest pays a supplement. The thematic suites are designed for 2 guests only.

  • Can I take my children?
    No, Reina Roja Hotel is an adult only hotel.

Services

  • What services do you offer in the hotel?
    Reina Roja hotel offers a number of services. At the front desk you can exchange money, make reservations for the hotel restaurant, make reservations for excursions and confirm flights. Also we can offer you car rental, airport transfers, beach club, spa services, gym and laundry service.

  • Can you book excursions for me?
    Yes, we can make reservations for different excursions in and around Playa del Carmen. At our hospitality desk you can get more information about the possibilities.

  • Do you offer transfers to the airport?
    Yes, Reina Roja Hotel offers airport transfers. We can pick you up from the airport or bring you for your return flight. You can make the reservation together with your room reservation at the website. If you need to make the reservation at a later point you can send an email to reservations@reinarojahotel.com

  • I want to have a massage while in Playa del Carmen, is this possible in the hotel?
    Reina Roja Hotel can arrange all spa services for you. This is not inside in the hotel but in a close by spa at less than 5 minutes walking distance.

  • Do you have a laundry service?
    Yes, Reina Roja Hotel offers a laundry service to its guests. We can offer regular service, but also dry cleaning is possible. If you need your laundry urgently this is also possible.

Restaurant and bar

  • What are the opening hours of the restaurant?
    The restaurant of the hotel opens in the mornings for breakfast from 7.00 a.m. till 10.30 a.m. and in the evening from 6.30 p, till 12.30 a.m. During the day the restaurant offers a variety of light meals like salads, sandwiches and cakes.

  • What are the opening hours of the pool bar?
    The pool bar which is located at the roof top of the hotel is opened from 11.00 a.m. till 6.00 p.m. The whole day a variety of drinks is served.

  • What are the opening hours of the lobby bar?
    The lobby bar opens from 5.30 p.m. until 2.00 a.m. You can order a variety of drinks but also snacks from the restaurant.

  • What type of foods do you serve?
    The restaurant offers a variety of meals from different parts of the world. You find anything from fajitas to hamburgers to fish on the menu. We offer a variety of snacks 24 hours a day.

  • Do you have vegetarian meals?
    Yes, the restaurant offers vegetarian meals. If there is nothing on the menu of your taste, our chef is always prepared to make something special.

  • How do I get to the hotel from Cancun Airport?
    From Cancun Airport you take the exit towards Playa del Carmen / Tulum. On the highway you drive south for about 60 km / 40 miles. When you arrive in Playa del Carmen you turn on to the ´Avenida Constituyentes´ at the 4th light. You keep following this street, pass the stoplights and pass the traffic circle. Two blocks after the traffic circle you turn left on the ´Avenida 1´, right before hotel Royal. The first block you turn left again. Now you are on Calle 20. On the second block at your right hand side you see Reina Roja Hotel.
    You can park your car below the hotel.

    We are only steps away from 5th avenue; the hotel is located right at this famous street where you find a large number of shops, restaurants and bars.
